Proper application of the Left-Handed GoJak®
Standard GoJaks® are right handed. When you insert the jack around the tire, the pedal is mounted on the left and rises to the right. Left-handed units are the opposite. This reverse pedal positioning is important when the vehicle is locked or disabled and the front wheels are turned to an extreme left or right position. In these circumstances, operation of the foot pedal on a standard GoJak® may prove difficult as the pedal is inside the wheel well. This is when a left hand GoJak® (pictured below) is convenient as the pedal position is more accessible on a sharply turned wheel. For normal shop use, left hand units are unnecessary.
